Dallas Aerial Surveys (DAS) proudly announces the addition of our Unmanned Aerial System

(sUAS) division, GENEsUAS (pronounced Genesis). Drawing on over 40 years of aerial mapping

experience, the integration of UAS technology to DAS’ wide range of geospatial capabilities is a

natural fit!

GENEsUAS offers our clients an additional means of acquiring aerial imagery while still delivering engineer design level mapping. DAS’ expert mapping criteria is implemented towards each and every project flown by one of DAS’ two licensed remote pilots. All acquired imagery is processed and mapped by our skilled production staff (450 plus years of combined photogrammetry experience), paired with our most current geospatial software.

A division of DAS, GENEsUAS performs UAS projects for a range of public and private sector clients including transportation, water/wastewater, municipalities, utilities, wind, land development, and landfills/mines. Our expert flight crews include licensed FAA Part 107 pilots, trained flight observers, and geospatial support staff specializing in UAS processing. We use both rotary and fixed-wing UAS aircraft that can be equipped with digital cameras and other sensors to support various client applications.
